GLENN A. BROTTMAN, MD

Glenn A. Brottman, M.D. is a licensed physician specializing in psychiatry and substance abuse treatment. He was among the first office based practitioners in the New York metropolitan area to offer transcranial magnetic stimulation (TMS) for treatment resistant depression. At Compass Medical Services, Dr. Brottman oversees the delivery of all psychiatric services and provides direct patient care services including psychiatric evaluation, psychiatric medication management, individual psychotherapy, outpatient medical detoxification, and medication to control cravings and prevent relapse.
Dr. Brottman received his undergraduate degree in biology from Union College in upstate New York and his M.D. from Chicago Medical School. After completing an internship in general surgery at New York Methodist Hospital in Brooklyn, he completed a psychiatric residency at St Luke’s Roosevelt Hospital, an affiliate of Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons. Dr. Brottman has been an attending psychiatrist at St Luke’s-Roosevelt Hospital in Manhattan and a clinical Instructor in psychiatry at Columbia University College of Physicians and Surgeons.
